Camila is a 22 year experienced voiceover talent, that In 2018 moved to LA to expand her market. She’s currently the voice of Falabella (Colombian equivalent to “Macy’s” stores) and Avianca Airlines, both in English and Spanish all over the world. She’s also producing, directing and voicing for Rosetta Stone for more than 7 years and last year she was nominated as best commercial voice for Sovas awards. She was a speaker for Vivavoz voiceover festival, juror of 3 categories of the “Avoz” awards, and teacher for a 3 hour workshop in marketing for Spanish Voiceover. Also, she gives personalized coaching to the Spanish speaking community. She’s a board member of ACL (Asociación Colombiana de Locutores), and now she’s working on getting fair rates for all latinamerican countries, and creating standards for the industry. She’s also an ambassador of ”the voiceover network ” and has written several articles for ”the buzz” magazine and ACL. In a constantly changing voiceover environment, voiceover can be facing it’s worst crisis or it’s best moment. It depends weather you focus your business in red oceans or in blue ones. But how to find blue oceans? (Unexplored territories full of potential): by getting back to the combination of what we are as individuals. Integrating all our traits and finding what truly makes us unique. Also, there are fun stories along the way of a successful voiceover talent from Colombia that managed to keep a space in the Colombian market, while opening a new and tougher one: LA. In order to be successful in a constantly changing voice over world, you must find what makes YOU unique. In order to do that, it’s important to consider the human being as a whole, not only as a voiceover talent. This course helps you to explore and get a better understanding of which is your place in the world, and gives you tools to explore your full potential as a unique human being, making out of that, a new way to find unexplored territories that can be very much profitable and safe. It also focuses of the importance of creating teams and collaborations that add value to every part of the production chain.
