I noticed a commission rate subject has been discussed online lately so I wanted to address how things work at Impressive Talent. My goal is to be a fair anti-exclusive agent who provides many opportunities for my talent.
First, The commissions at Impressive Talent are:
Union 10%
Anything else 15%
Sometimes jobs will pay extra for agent fees, it may look like this:
Rate: $3000 + 15%.
If this were for a job you booked, assuming it’s non union, you would get the full rate of $3000.00 and I would take the 15%.
If you were to book a job that paid a flat $4000.00 for a non union job, then I would deduct 15% off the $4000.00 and pay you the rest.
If the job paid $4000.00 + 20% then you would get your $4000.00 + 1/4 of the agency commission since I only take a maximum of 15%.
Anything Union I pull 10% off the rate and send the rest and I always include a copy of your union statement with the payment.
I do not know how other agents work but I do know there are agents who double dip or charge check processing fees.
Impressive Talent was created to be for the talent.
