Since Impressive Talent was created, we’ve been informing talent from all walks of life that commercial credits are a must have in the entertainment industry.
Frequently we see this:
Commercial
(credits to be provided upon request)
The above is not acceptable on any resume. It actually implies that you have no commercial credits.
On the contrary, not listing your commercial credits is a huge negative to any resume when in fact you may have some to list.
And… it is false also that if they see you booked a car ad and they need a car voice or a car model, that you would be eliminated because you booked one sometime in your past. if anything it gives you more of a positive status to see you’ve booked in that category. If there’s potential conflict and they like your voice or your look, they’ll reach out and see when your ad ran.
So please add your commercials to your resumes. For agent resumes you do not have the restriction of a one page resume, at least not at Impressive Talent. We want to see your resume growing.
